The Lancaster House, in association with the Institute for Work & Health (IWH) and the University of Toronto's Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources, is hosting the Workplace Safety and Insurance Conference at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
The one-day conference features a keynote address by IWH Scientist Dr. Agnieszka Kosny, who's also a member of the conference advisory committee. Her address is entitled, "The role of health-care providers in the workers' compensation system and the return-to-work process."
Other topics include: the year's key compensation cases, how the WSIB and WSIAT assess pain, navigating the WSIB system and suitable modified work.
