B.C. workers’ compensation benefits after Bill 49
The goals of this project are:
- to look at the impact of Bill 49, which was introduced in 2002 and changed the way some compensation benefits were calculated by British Columbia workers’ compensation board
- to investigate, specifically: workers’ earnings, loss of earning, earning replacement after an injury, gender and regional differences in earning losses, main income sources after an injury, and the impact of injury on marital status.
