Effects of the compensation system on workers’ lives

The goals of this project are:

  • to conduct innovative, community-based research to understand the consequences of work injury and the impact of legislation, policies, programs and practices
  • to encourage policy decision-making that is based on evidence in the workers’ compensation arena
  • to equip injured workers and their representatives with skills so that they can continue to be involved in research and promoting evidence-based findings.
