Experience rating, OHS regulation and compensation claims

The goals of this project are:

  • to look at the impact of various features of the New Experimental Experience Rating (NEER) program on safety and claims management
  • to assess how various aspsects of the program, such as degree of experience rating, affect the incentives for firms to invest in safety 
  • to assess the impact of various program changes introduced in 2004 and 2006.
