Have you worked for a TEMP AGENCY in the last 2 years?

Our study

The Institute for Work & Health is doing a study about temporary work agencies.  We want to understand what it is like to be a temporary worker directly from people doing this work.  We want to learn how temporary work agencies handle workplace health and safety issues and hear about everyday situations at work.

We are holding focus groups with temporary workers in Ontario to learn about these kinds of experiences first-hand.

The focus group will take 2 hours and we need 6-8 workers to participate in each group.  The groups will be in February or March 2010 and the exact date, time and place will be based on what is best for most participants.

Participants get $50 as thanks and to cover any costs getting to the focus group.  We will also provide a light meal.

Your privacy

Participation is confidential (only our research team and other worker participants will know who you are), and it is anonymous (information that might identify you, i.e. name, workplace, hometown, etc, will be removed).  If you join our focus group, your private information will be replaced with information that will NOT identify you, so people who know you – including your employer and other people at work will not find out that you participated in this study.

Who do I contact if I want to participate?
