Kevin Wilson is retired from Humber River Hospital, where he was vice-president of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness from 2012 to 2014.
Prior to joining the hospital, Wilson spent 37 years with the Government of Ontario, having worked in six ministries and in a variety of senior leadership positions. Most recently, he was the assistant deputy minister of the Policy, Program and Dispute Resolution Services Division with the Ministry of Labour, having responsibility for the policy, legislative and regulatory framework for occupational safety, employment standards and labour relations.
Today, Wilson provides a variety of pro bono consulting services to public-sector organizations and in mentoring the next generation of public-service leaders. He brings with him extensive knowledge in the fields of human resources management, employee relations, collective bargaining, strategic planning, change management, business transformation and negotiations.
Wilson is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where he studied political science and history.
