Dr. Louise Lemieux-Charles, Vice-Chair

Dr. Louise Lemieux-Charles is professor emeritus in the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto.

Previously at the University of Toronto, she was chair and director of IHPME for 10 years and interim director of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health for two years. She taught organization and management in both the master's and doctoral programs, and conducted research in the areas of organization and system performance, the diffusion of knowledge in organizations, and the effectiveness of health service delivery networks. She was also a member of the Governing Council and chaired the Academic Board.

Currently, Lemieux-Charles is also a board member of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Programs, North York General Hospital and the International Women's Forum (Toronto Chapter). She is also a member of the Board Research Committee at Sinai Health System. She is often invited to speak at both national and international forums.

Previously, Lemieux-Charles was appointed an adjunct scientist at the Institute for Work & Health, and was a member of several boards, including United Way of Greater Toronto, the Toronto Rehab Institute and The Change Foundation.

Lemieux-Charles earned her PhD at the University of Toronto.
