Quenby Mahood is the manager of library services at the Institute for Work & Health (IWH). She moved into the manager position in 2008, four years after joining the Institute's library team in 2004.
Mahood provides information services to IWH's scientists and staff, including literature searches, publication acquisitions, reference support, and training in the use of online databases and reference manager software.
Mahood has been a member of many IWH systematic review teams, acting as literature searcher, reviewer and coordinator. She also compiles the IWH Research Alert, a weekly e-newsletter containing recent articles on occupational injury and disability prevention.
Mahood holds a master of information from the University of Toronto. Her research interests focus on the methodology of literature searches, the inclusion of grey literature in reviews, and systematic reviews.
