Dr. Cherise Regier
Cherise Regier is a Mustard postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Work & Health. Her research examines the determinants and consequences of worker wellbeing within the context of contemporary labour policy and evolving employment relationships. She studies how policy and organizational interventions shape wellbeing outcomes, with a particular focus on institutions that support employee voice.
Regier holds a DPhil (PhD) in social intervention and policy evaluation from the University of Oxford, where her doctoral work investigated worker wellbeing amid declining worker power. Her dissertation used advanced quantitative methods and large-scale datasets to assess how different employee voice regimes influence wellbeing across varying political and institutional contexts.
Her current postdoctoral research at IWH focuses on artificial intelligence, work and wellbeing, addressing both macro-level policy considerations and micro-level worker experiences.
