Cynthia Chen
Cynthia Chen is an analyst/biostatistician in the Data and Information Systems Program at the Institute for Work & Health. She coordinates the planning and allocation of analytic resources at the Institute and also chairs the Quantitative Methods Presentation series.
Since joining the Institute in 2005, Chen has provided statistical support for projects across the Institute’s range of activities. She is currently working with Dr. Aviroop Biswas, exploring the predictors of Canadian workers’ physical activity using the Decision Tree method. She is also working with Dr. Lynda Robson on evaluating the relative effectiveness of different training modalities in JHSC certification training.
Chen received a master’s degree in biostatistics from the University of Toronto.
